Here we are going to give you step by step instructions for installing an interior door in your home. Let’s start with a checklist of the materials and tools you’re going to need.

1 pre-hung interior door

sm. Box of 2 inch casing nails

1 bundle of door shims

1 door knob

caulk

•	6 foot level

•	2 foot level

•	nail set

•	phillips screw driver

•	hammer

•	caulk gun

First thing you want to do is check the opening your door is going in to make sure you have a big enough opening. The opening needs to be 2 inches bigger than the door itself, an inch and a half for the thickness of the doors frame (3/4 of an inch on each side) and a half inch extra so you can make adjustments. There for a 32 inch door would require a 34 inch opening.

Un-package your door and place the door into the opening keeping mind which way you want the door to swing. Center the door in the opening and also flush up the outside of the doors frame with the drywall.

Put a 2 foot level on the floor where the door sits and make sure the legs of the doors frame are level. You can also check this by placing your 2 foot level on top of the doors frame however if the wood is bowed a little bit it will be hard to get it perfect. If one side is higher, shim up the other side to make them level with each other.

Now place shims around the doors frame. Four shims down each side spread out evenly will do. On the hinge side be sure to put shims close to the hinges because this is where you’re going to put your nails. On the knob side, be sure to put one of your shims behind where the latch will go.

Starting on the hinge side, push the door frame tight to your shims. Check the frame with your 6 foot level and adjust your shims accordingly. Now drive one of your casing nails through the frame putting one by every hinge and driving through your shims. DO NOT sink your nails all the way. You will do this later with the nail set and you might need to remove them to make adjustments later.

Now that one side is hung close the door and tighten the shims on the other side. Be sure to use the level and make adjustments accordingly. Before you nail this side close the door and look at the small gap between the door and the frame on the hinge side. It’s a little smaller than a quarter inch. You want to make sure that gap is the same all the way around the door. Raise and lower the frame to adjust the gap above the door and adjust your shims to the side.

Once your gap has the same reveal all the way around, make sure your door is still flush with the drywall and nail it off. Again make sure you do not sink the nails all the way.

Now open and close the door and make sure the door is swinging good and not rubbing. Go ahead and install the door knob to make sure it lines up right and latches correctly. If everything looks good you can go ahead and sink the nails with the nail set and fill the holes with caulk. If you need to make any adjustments you can pull the nails and make them as needed. If you pull the nails out use one of the shims between your hammer and whatever you’re prying on so you don’t damage the wood. If you can’t pull the nails you can use a reciprocating saw between the doors frame and the wall studs to free the door.

Nowadays, people are tech savvy and likewise their homes must respond to their personalities with all the emerging technologies in place like data power controls, and video devices. Broadband connections, security system, home theaters, audio/ video, lighting system, switches, electronic items used in kitchens and many more such products are integrated in home automation to bring convenience and sophistication which was earlier limited to workplace.

Home automation is the ability to control devices around your house from your personal computer. For instance, if you go on a holiday then the lights in your house can be scheduled to function normally through your computer. Like turn off all the lights at night and turn them on in the morning and then off during the office hours and again on in the evening. This would give an impression that you are at home and might lessen the chances of robbery as well. The tea and coffee maker and toaster can also start working at seven in the morning so that you are not late for office.

Home automation also includes the state of the art security system. It includes the feature where if nobody is there at home to answer the bell then the visitor is automatically connected on your mobile phone or on your PC and you can talk to him regarding the purpose of his visit. This helps in not missing anyone and also provided safety.
Then there is a notice bulletin which allows residents to remain well connected. It enables users to circulate certain information to all residents of the township via touch screen computers.

Home automation also means controlling the temperature of your house remotely. This enables you to cool your home before coming from the office.

The salient features of the home automation devices are that they should be simple to operate. Feather touch and networking operations for the entire house should be possible. It should also facilitate mood setting by setting different combination’s of light. The life of bulb also increases by dimming them or setting them at power saving mode. It should also provide total security solutions for yourself, your family and your property.

Home automation can literally revolutionize the way you spend your recreational quality time, enabling you to change the ambiance and mood of your house and radically transform your home on special occasions.

It’s about time huh? This off season seemed to last forever. With all the questions and concerns about the Colts after Tony Dungy retired, Jim Caldwell and the Indianapolis Colts won their first game together. They started the game a little off with Peyton throwing an interception in the first drive and Addai fumbling on their second. However the Colts had no problem at all marching down the field.

Jacksonville was the first on the board with a field goal but their lead was very short lived. Addai got the Colts on the board first with a short -4 yard run. A couple drives later Reggie Wayne increased the lead with an excellent catch down the left side.

Coming out in the third quarter the Colts seemed to lose it a little during half time. Colts started the second half with a decent drive that ended with yet another fumble. The Jags run the ball down the field for a touchdown to come within 3 points. The Jags decided to try and tie the game going for 2 but the Colts put the stop on that.

With just a little over five minutes left on the clock it seemed like an easy win for Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. A few running plays, a pass or 2 here-n-there to mix things up, and the Colts were on their way down the field. It seemed the Colts would win this one easy until the Jags put up a decent stop to take over the ball just a little passed mid field.

This didn’t worry the Colts, me, now that’s a different story. I must admit, I was a little worried. A week one win against a division team would definitely mean a lot especially with the Titans losing their first game also, so this game was definitely an important one.

I’m really excited to see what the Colts can do this year. Hopefully with a new head coach, some new players picked up in the draft and most of our players healthy this year I think the Colts really have a good chance this year.

Health insurance is a policy or a document that gives assurance of paying our medical bills. It has become the most important expense for any individual or group of people. If premium is paid for health insurance in a given year then it will cover the expenses you will make on your treatment. Taking a health insurance is like keeping a fixed amount from the income separate for any unforeseen ailment that might take place.

Health insurance is an agreement between the insurer and the insured where on payment of premium by the insured, insurer agrees to settle the medical bills during the agreed period of time. The health insurance is renewed every year and the premium can be paid either annually as a onetime payment or in installments which can be either monthly or annually.

There are various types of health insurance plans available in the market. They are even customized depending on the individual need. Certain health insurance policies are made to cover specific ailments like cancer, heart disease, tuberculosis etc. There are special health insurance plans even for women. A person can take individual health insurance for different ailments.

At times health insurance is considered to be more important than the life insurance since it helps you to meet your medical expenses and make your life comfortable. It reduces the burden of any long term or short term medical problem that you might suffer from.

The health insurance is provided either by the government or by the private health insurance companies. Various health insurance companies are AIG, Prudential, American family insurance, regence group and many more. The health insurance can cover an individual or his entire family depending on the type of plan taken.

Comprehensive health insurance is more expensive when compared with scheduled health insurance because it covers more risk and provide more benefits. Whereas, scheduled health insurance is made to cover the daily expense of going to the doctor and do not over much risk. No matter how huge the cost difference is between the two a comprehensive health insurance cannot be replaced by anything.

The health insurance model followed by France is considered the best by the world health organization since it assures high quality of care and provides total freedom to the patient.

Visual Basic is an event driven programming language. In other words it can be simply described as a technology used for developing user friendly and user understandable graphical user interfaces. It is a product of Microsoft and namely has various versions such as the working model, professional edition, the enterprise edition etc. Depending upon the needs of the developer the editions used may change.

Visual Basic projects can be developed in a three step process:

Planning and designing the user interface

Setting the properties of the various controls

Coding for the various events of the controls

The whole concept of Visual Basic is based on forms, controls, events, properties etc. The forms are the screen or the window. The controls are placed on the form by the developer keeping in mind the needs of the user. The controls have built in properties and events. The property of the control is changed as per the user requirements. The coding for the validations of the controls is done at the various events of the controls. The textbox control is used to provide a text area for the user to enter some data such as address, name etc. The labels are used to let the user know what the control next to it is for. When a user has to select one of the option from various options given we can use the option buttons, if multiple selection has to be made then checkboxes can be used. To give a more graphical effect, the controls such as picture and image can be used. There is a long list of controls, depending upon the requirements the various controls can be utilized.
Visual Basic 6.0 was one of the main programming technologies used to create client server applications that were widely used in a large number of organizations. The applications would usually be called 3-tier applications where the user interface (client) and server part were coded in Visual Basic to interact with the database to fetch and save data. Visual Basic compatible with databases like SQL Server, Microsoft access etc. With the help of Visual Basic even reports can be generated which helps user to get a day–to–day summary.
With the growing advancements and needs Visual Basic 6.0 has also achieved advancements. The latest technology is Visual Basic .NET which is a part of the .NET package. Currently all the applications that are based on Visual Basic 6.0 are being ported to Visual Basic .NET to be able to use the latest features and advantages that the .NET platform brings along with it.

Samsung in the recent years has become a global leader in the TV technology section. Everybody wants to have a Samsung TV. Previously the trend was to buy a Sony TV but rumour has it that even Sony TVs have the same panel that is used by Samsung. So, some of the loyal Sony customers are joining the Samsung bandwagon. Samsung provides very cost effective product which is basically very suitable to today’s consumer. More features in lesser cost without compromise on the quality are the requirements that will satisfy the ever so demanding customer today.

Samsung has come up with some really innovative products and in fact in the TV segment, Samsung seems to be the first one to bring the LED TV revolution to the market. Even though right now the cost of such TVs is very high, it won’t take much time for the market to become competitive and other brands investing in similar technology to help reduce the final price that the consumer ends up paying. LED TVs are suitable only for a larger display area say from 40” and above and hence it not very pocket friendly currently.

In the LCD range as well, Samsung has been quite experimental and has come up with many brilliant looking series. I say experimental because recently I saw the Samsung LCD series 4, series 5 and series 6 in the market and they all looked amazing. Having a glossy finished frame and all the series shine brilliantly and are very appealing to the human eye. The picture quality as always expected from Samsung is great and the sound was regular for what LCD TVs deliver nowadays. The main difference between the series 4, series 5 and series 6 was the features. Whereas the Series 4 is HD ready, the Series 5 and Series 6 provide a Full HD (1080p) display for crystal clear and crisp pictures. The contrast ratio also increases with the higher series. Samsung was the first to come up with a 100 Hz scanning for regular CRT based TVs and are yet again there with this innovation in the LCD TV range in its Series 6 TVs.

Samsung also provides plasma TVs in larger display sizes (42 inches or more) but with the launch of the LED product range, I do suggest that the customer wait and watch for the price to reduce a bit or invest a bit more and have the latest Samsung technology decorate his home.

Top Ten Sure Fire Tips to Market your Website without Hurting Your Budget

If you are selling a product or a service and you want your website to be known globally, you should get into the field of internet marketing to skyrocket your sales. You do not really have to pay hundreds of dollars to self-proclaimed Internet gurus just to create a name for your site. There are inexpensive and simple ways on how you can create a massive online presence without burning a whole in your pocket.

1.	Add your site to Google
Google is the number one search engine. It would be a great opportunity if you have your site indexed in Google. Doing so would allow your site to show in search engine results when visitors use the search engine to find information. Make it a goal to achieve a high pagerank so you can gain more web presence and more visitors to your site.

2.	Create a mailing list
As they say, the money is on the list. Get as much email addresses as legally as you can. These would serve as your contact list where you can email your clients and possible costumers for any happenings or promotions about your site. Add a sign up or a newsletter opt-in option to your site to gather contacts.

3.	Create a blog
A blog is a good marketing tool because you can talk freely about your product and service and communicate with your customers in a more personal level. Your blog can also serve as an information site where people can learn tips and advice and read good content. Your blog would serve as a support marketing tool for the main services and products that you offer.

4.	Distribute press releases
If you have a new site launched or a promotions going on in your site, write a press release about it and distribute it on online press release portals. This would not only help you get more traffic but it would create an instant buzz about your site.

5.	Article marketing
Distributing articles in article directories with links to your site would result to more traffic and more back links. But what it can really do is add reputation to your site. If you are distributing high quality articles, then visitors would regard your site as an established website that they can go to if they need quality information.

6.	Social Media and Forum Marketing
Nowadays, who doesn’t have an account on MySpace and Facebook? You can tap into millions of people on this site if you create your own profile page on popular social media networking sites. As for forums, you can add your website and add a signature link to your profile. Post relevant posts on forums that would add credibility to the website that you represent.

7.	Track your progress
Your internet marketing efforts would be fruitless if you cannot track its effectivity. Make sure that you evaluate your marketing efforts once or twice a month. Focus more and improve on the marketing tactics that give you the most sales.

Is it just me or does Ebay really suck these days? I mean on top of all the problems they have you can’t even find a good deal these days. There are too many people out there that buy everything up just to turn around and resell it.

Ebay is just a lot of mess and BS if you ask me. So, here is my main problem with Ebay based on a bad experience I just had.

I was just trying to sell a website on Ebay. Someone bid on the site and won. After talking with the guy every day for a week he changed his mind and said that he had money problems. Well don’t we all! The problem is that people can just bid on stuff and not pay if they win. I remember when Ebay first started you could leave a negative rep for people who didn’t pay. Now sellers cannot leave a negative rep for a buyer. That’s BS in my opinion. People can just keep bidding and not paying. IDK, maybe there is another way to complain about people doing this but I don’t see them doing much about it.

So I understand protecting the buyers because there are a lot of lazy jerks out there that will not get a job so the steal other peoples hard earned money. I know this. But Ebay also needs to protect their sellers. I mean were the ones that keep the site going. If we are not posting items for sale then they have no site, right?

I just think they should make it where you can leave a negative rep for people who don’t pay again. You use to be able to set up your auctions to where they would not accept bids from non paying buyers but how are you suppose to know now if people can’t leave them a negative rep and mark them for this action and save other people some time.

I don’t usually use Ebay because of this. I have had a few Ebay accounts over the years and this always seems to happen so I don’t use them for a couple years at a time. It seems whenever I decide to try them out again it’s more of a mess and the same thing happens every time.

So, this is my complaint and gripe for the day! Lol! Hopefully it will help keep people from making the same mistake or help people to take more precautions.

Today’s review was an easy one to pick. Last night I was searching the net for a friend looking for information about an FHA refinance loan and I found a site that I was really impressed with. The site BestRateSource.com had exactly the information I was looking for.

We were trying to find out a little information about what an FHA refinance loan really is, what loan rates are available, who can qualify and how. Pretty much anybody can qualify, even if you have filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy. Rates can be variable or fixed and borrowers can finance up to 97% of the value of the house.

FHA (Federal Housing Administration) is a division of HUD (Housing and Urban Development). FHA loans are not provided by HUD. They are provided by mortgage companies and brokers and are insured by the FHA and must meet strict guidelines set by the FHA.

Bestratesource.com proved to be a very resourceful site and is very user friendly as far as being able to easily find the information I was looking for. Bestratesource.com provides a ton of information about all different types of loans. Auto loans, payday loans, personal loans and credit card information all without trying to sell you stuff or try to get you to sign up for loans or credit cards.

Recently I have noticed a lot of people asking in forums, how they can get there sites indexed faster. I have also seen people charging anywhere from $10-$20 to do it for people. Well, it’s not hard to do at all. All you have to do is a little bookmarking.

After you have finished creating your web site, go to your Google webmaster tools dashboard. Verify your site and submit your XML sitemap. Go to Reddit, Stumbleupon, Technorati, Digg and Furl. Submit your link to all of them at the same time, or as fast as you can. Maybe use 2 browsers… Submitting to all these high page rank sites close to the same time you’re more than likely to catch a spider on one of the sites. These sites are crawled regularly so links are found quickly.

If you use high page ranked forums like Digital Point or V7N, add your link to your signature there and do a few post. Better if you start the threads. These sites are also crawled often.

Give it about an hour or two and go to Google.com. Do a search for your domain name (yoursite.com). You will soon see search results that will show your sites link on pages from the bookmarking sites you submitted your links too. This may take a couple hours to 24 hours. If you go to the pages in the search results the links probably will not still be there due to the content constantly changing on those sites.

Your page may not show up on your Google webmaster dashboard for a few days to a week but if you do the search at Google for your domain name you will see it there sooner. Sometimes it may be a few pages back still.
